Ana Cláudia Figueiredo Oliveira

Ana Claudia Oliveira is an architect with a solid academic background, a Master degree on Buildings Rehabilitation, an MBA on Energy focusing on sustainability and energy efficiency. She studied in Milan Polytechnic in Italy, she´s an Interior Design Lover. She studied in Pratt Institute in New York City, namely LEED and Green Associate PLUS LEED, Green Roof Construction, Maintenance and Monitoring and Drainage and Hydrology in NYC and she´s currently a PhD candidate at the University of Lisbon – the dissertation focus on Smart Cities, Sustainability and Energy applied in Buildings.
Consistent work experience doing technical drawings assistance, design package and support to architecture competitions with a long portfolio on Rehabilitation of Buildings and working as a consultant on the client side as well.
Specialist with elements of Green Architecture and she has also been, for seven years, Project Manager consultant of Public Service Buildings (Rehabilitation and Building), namely Courts and other Judiciary buildings in Portugal, working for the Public Sector in large scale projects.
She has a long experience in Residential Projects, Public Projects, Commercial Projects, as well in Art and Education Projects, Graphic Design and Interior Design Projects in the design conception, tender preparation and construction packages from her own architecture studio in Portugal. She has worked with Viterbo Interior Design International preparing design packages from tender to construction. She has experience on coordinating different disciplines as well as managing clients and consultants.
She worked in GREEN CLIMATE FUND a main financial entity of UNFCCC located in South Korea advising on climate change preparation projects for Cities.
Her top areas of interest are Smart Cities, Consumption reduction, Green Architecture, Interior Design. She is Fluent in Portuguese, English and Italian. She understand Spanish and French and basic Korean.
She has valuable managing experience because of the constant need to communicate with different working International teams and different budgets.
She finished a fellowship with Belarusian State Technological University in Belarus for the project development about “Minsk as a Smart City”.
