Maria Inês Costa da Veiga

Inês Veiga develops experimental and investigative work centred on the political implications of design; specifically, she collaborates in projects of cultural production and participatory projects with local and non-profit organisations. PhD candidate in Design from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Lisbon since 2013. Inês has a CODE – Center for Codesign Research – internship from the Royal Danish Academy, and she participated in the first edition of !MPact Design for Social Change, School of Visual Arts. She also participated in several meetings of the European project ‘Training Art and Design Researchers in Participation for Public Space’. Holds a degree in Communication Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. Between 2008-2013, she worked as communication designer at thisislove studio, in Lisbon.
